The South Kerry Ploughing Championship & Harvest Show was launched on Saturday evening, 29th August in the Travel Inn, Fossa.  Chairman of the organising committee, Tom Leslie, welcomed the attendees and outlined the attractions of the upcoming show which promises to be bigger and better than last year’s inaugural event.

Guest of Honour, the Mayor of Killarney, Bobby O’Connell, launched the show and stressed its importance in relation to the funds raised which go to local charities, the chance for local businesses to showcase their wares and services and a great social occasion for families to enjoy.

Representatives from this year’s nominated charities, the Kerry Branch of the Irish Kidney Association and the Kerry Mountain Rescue also spoke at the launch and explained how the funds received will go to good use.

The organising committee and members of Killarney Valley Classic & Vintage are busy preparing the venue, the Fleming Family Farm in Grenagh,Fossa for the various attractions and trade stands which will be attending and which promises to make this year’s show an even bigger hit than last year.

Killarney Valley Classic & Vintage are looking forward to welcoming you all to the show on Sunday, 13th September.
